Water Update/Information: The town’s water/sewer operator tests the water and sends samples into the lab, Endyne, for testing. These tests are done in accordance with state of Vermont rules and regulations. Our water meets or exceeds these test results and is 100% safe and healthy. For the water users in the town, each year usually included with the May bill, you receive a consumer confidence report. This reports is a snap shot of the town’s water system and answers many questions that you may have. Feel free to contact Mike anytime with additional questions or concerns you may have. He is in contact with a number of people from different agencies to always do the very best for the town of Newport.
